If you are planning a holiday in Palma Nova, Mallorca, the following information may help by giving you an overview of the resort and the surrounding area.
Both Palma Nova and Magalluf evolved from the 1960s tourist boom and today both resorts are on the list of top youth clubbing holiday nightlife destinations. Magalluf and Palma Nova are two separate resorts which blend into one, but Palma Nova is a little more laid back than Magalluf.
Palma Nova benefits from a superb stretch of sandy beach and is only a 10 minute walk to the centre of Magalluf along the promenade which joins both resorts and only a 20 minute taxi ride from the airport. If you want a quieter location for your hotel or apartment complex then Palma Nova is the better resort for you to choose as it is very close to be able to walk to for the evening entertainment.
If you are thinking of taking your Palma Nova holidays during the winter months bear in mind that it will be quieter and many clubs and bars will close during this period.
