Military Planes used for Wedding

The Diario de Mallorca newspaper has reported that the Spanish Air Force has detained several officers from the 801 squadron based in Son Sant Joan in Mallorca for the improper use of military planes to take guests to a wedding on the island of Formentera over the weekend 22/23 May. A Super Puma rescue helicopter and 2 military CASA C212 transport planes were used to transport guests to the doors of a hotel in Formentera where the wedding reception was to take place.
