Fuerteventura offers something for everyone - which is pretty handy when you are the man who has everything.
One such person is 35-year-old Dermot Finglas, who recently won big on the Irish lottery and is heading to Fuerteventura to celebrate his windfall.
While relaxing somewhere on the island's many stretches of golden sands, Mr Finglas may ponder his future - and it could lie exactly where he is sat.
"I might want to buy a little bar on the beach out there," he told the Irish Independent after collecting his cheque.
However, he understandably added: "I'm going to think about it all for a while before doing anything."
Whether his stay turns out to be a brief holiday or a long-term lifestyle choice, it is unlikely that Mr Finglas will become bored in Fuerteventura.
The island offers plenty of opportunities for fishing, diving, golfing and exploring the local marine environment.
