All inclusive holidays are becoming more popular with travellers during the current financial climate because it allows them to budget how much money they will need, according to a travel insider.
Speaking at the World Travel Market 2009 convention in London, global travel and tourism manager at Euromonitor International Caroline Bremner claimed that there has been a growth in interest.
She commented that travel companies have responded by developing the products that they offer to try and entice more customers.
Ms Bremner explained: "Many consumers have returned to package holidays because they are looking for costs upfront so that they know exactly what they need to budget for."
This means that when holidaymakers decide to plan a golfing holiday to
Tenerife, they can have peace of mind in knowing that their holiday costs are not going to spiral out of control.
According to a survey by the World Travel Market, 84 per cent of travellers over the age of 60 are not deterred from going on holiday if they hear about poor exchange rates or flight taxes.
