Holidaymakers heading to
Tenerife this summer will have the chance to see the new arrival at Aqualand
Costa Adeje.
One of the attraction's resident dolphins, Yemaya, recently gave birth to a baby male, News in the Sun reports.
The youngster was born following three hours of labour and measures 1.5 metres in length.
Jose Luis Barbero, technical director at Aqualand, told the publication that Yemaya is extremely caring and will look after the baby well.
One of Tenerife's most popular attractions, Aqualand Costa Adeje is home to a water park and dolphinarium, with exciting shows taking place on a daily basis.
As well as swimming pools and a children's area, visitors will find dozens of slides and rides to enjoy, including the Anaconda, Tornado, Congo River and Crazy Race.
The attraction welcomed two baby dolphins last year, with the calves being born during the month of November.
