A new art exhibition has opened its doors in
Los Cristianos.
The Swallows Art Exhibition, which is taking place at the Swedish Church on the resort's seafront, will remain open until March 6th.
According to Island Connections, the exhibition is held annually and features paintings and drawings created by a local art group.
The artists travel around the island each week painting scenes inspired by
Tenerife's spectacular beaches, towns and historical sites.
"[They] will be happy to discuss their paintings and techniques. Some of them hold workshops and painting classes, information about which can be obtained at the exhibition," the newspaper said.
All of the paintings are for sale and provide holidaymakers with a great opportunity to snap up a unique souvenir.
Located on the southern coast of Tenerife, Los Cristianos is one of the island's most popular destinations and is home to a host of attractions including Cactus Park and the Parque Las Aguilas.
