Playa de las Gaviotas : Quieter and more intimate that Playa de las Teresitas although not far away.
Playa Jardin : A sandy and very popular beach in Puerto de la Cruz
Playa del Duque : Golden sand beach with a relatively calm sea in the area of Costa Adeje
El Medano : Natural beach and one of the longest in Tenerife located in El Medano
El Socorro : Quite a long beach in Los Realejos, although there can be quite a strong swell
El Bolullo : Small beach [400m long] located in La Orotava
Playa de la Arena : Wth the most recorded sunshine hours this beach is located in Playa de la Arena with great views over to La Gomera
Las Vistas : Located between Los Cristianos and Playa de las Americas this is probably one of the longest beaches in the south
Los Cristianos : About 400m long this beach can get busy, but you can watch boats coming in to the harbour in Los Cristianos
