
Extra buses and tram services have been laid on this week for the Santa Cruz Carnival in Tenerife.
Security staff and ticket inspectors will also be out in force, the
Tenerife News has reported.
"During the busiest days of the festivities, tram services will be increased, with services running every five minutes," the newspaper said.
Some bus services will be operating 24 hours a day until March 1st, helping to ensure that holidaymakers do not miss out on any carnival fun.
Services will be stepped up even further tomorrow (Wednesday), for the annual Burial of the Sardine.
Meanwhile, the Santa Cruz Carnival may be coming to an end this week, but there are plenty of others taking place.
According to News in the Sun,
Los Gigantes Carnival gets underway on March 5th and
Los Cristianos Carnival begins the following day.
