Filming has started in Tenerife of Clash of the Titans II and is due to continue through to 10th June. The Warner Bros film is being shot in several locations such as Buenavista del Norte, Arico, Adeje, Santiago del Teide, Granadille de Abona, La Orotava and Guia de Isora. Just under 400 local people are involved including extras, drivers, electricians, carpenters and some Canarian actors.
Some scenes are also due to be filmed in La Gomera and Fuerteventura.
Clash of the Titans II has involved a larger local and international crew than the last film and much more equipment has been brought there this time round. The movie is scheduled to be released in the US on 30 March 2012.
