Those keen to look stylish on their next holiday to the
Canary Islands may be interested to learn that hippy chic is back in fashion.
This is according to Alison Dace, creative education manager and top season stylist at Saks, who noted that the shops are currently "bursting" with headbands and fashionable hair accessories.
She explained that lots of celebrities, such as former OC star Mischa Barton and singer Ashlee Simpson, are choosing to style their hair in laidback braids and headbands.
"Sienna Miller is a big fan of the braid, worn as a head band while other fans of the braid include the aptly-named Heidi Klum," she added.
Speaking recently, freelance beauty writer Zara Rabinowicz said it is important not to let grooming slip when on holiday and to ensure hair is protected from the sun.
Holidaymakers should invest in a good SPF protection spray and deep conditioning mask, she added.
