Loro Parque in Tenerife will open one of the world's largest aviaries this summer, it has been revealed.
According to News in the Sun, the new aviary will measure an impressive 30 metres in height and house over 100 species of birds.
Visitors to the park will have the opportunity to walk through the enclosure and view the inhabitants at close quarters, with hanging cages dotted throughout the aviary's forest canopy.
The new feature was reportedly designed in Germany and is due to open to the public in June.
One of the most popular attractions in Tenerife, Loro Parque is also home to hundreds of other animals including dolphins, gorillas, sea lions, tigers and even orcas.
The attraction is open all year round and visitors can watch some of the animals perform in exciting daily shows.
