The annual FLYPA 2009 Paragliding Festival is to take place in Tenerife later this year, it has been revealed.
Commencing on April 29th, the week-long festival will be held in
Los Realejos in the Orotava Valley and gathers some of the world's most prestigious paragliding pilots, as well as parachuting specialists and hand-gliding enthusiasts.
The festival will also feature a sports' fair and several musical performances are scheduled to take place over the course of the week.
Festival-goers will have the chance to try their hand at some of the activities on offer and enjoy a view of the island from the air.
Other events taking place in Tenerife over the coming months include the Romeria of San Marcos Evangelista in Tegueste and the
Tenerife Ladies Open.
