The official programme of events has been unveiled for this year's
Santa Cruz de Tenerife Carnival.
Festivities take place throughout the month of February, beginning on the 4th, and as anyone familiar with the
Canary Islands will know,
Tenerife's annual carnival is an event not to be missed.
Dozens of events are scheduled to take place, with everything from musical performances to dancing competitions.
Some of the highlights of this year's festival include a rhythmic dancing and synchronisation competition on February 21st, along with a daytime carnival parade on the 28th.
The carnival culminates in a day of spectacular parades and performances on March 1st, including an antique car fair.
