The winter sales may be drawing to a close in Tenerife, but one resort will be very much open for business with bargain hunters.
La Orotava, which is located close to
Puerto de la Cruz, hosts Diversaldo on March 15th, an event which brings the local shopkeepers and traders of the area together as they seek to sell the last of their winter stock.
Taking place in Plaza de la Constitucion, the day offers a delightful alternative to the sales at bigger outlets, which end a week earlier.
More than 15,000 shoppers attended last year - and 2009 promises to be even bigger, with more than 100 stalls set to be manned at this popular outdoor market,
