Tenerife is not complete without spending a day at one of the island's newest attractions.
Opened last year, Siam Park has received rave reviews and is undoubtedly one of the best water parks in Europe.
Speaking to the Travel Trade Gazette last week, Ignacio Vasallo, director of the Spanish Tourist Office, listed Siam Park as one Spain's top attractions and suggested that those who visit will not be disappointed.
Located in Adeje, on Tenerife's south coast, the park has been designed to resemble an ancient kingdom in Thailand.
Some of Siam Park's highlights include a lost city children's playground, a giant temple slide and the breathtaking Tower of Power.
The park is also home to its very own beach, which has been covered using white sand imported from the Algarve.
