People heading to the
Canary Islands on their luxury holidays have been advised that they could improve their experience by taking a few Spanish lessons while they are there.
Founder and chief executive officer of GoToLearn.com Vanessa Lenssen claimed that taking a week's worth of lessons while in the country where that language is spoken is the equivalent to a whole term of evening classes in the UK.
She noted that very few people realise that they can have a few leisurely language lessons while they are on their 5 star holidays and still enjoy their relaxing break.
So, while travellers can spend most of the day out on the professional quality golf courses on
Tenerife, they could consider having a short Spanish lesson every day too.
"Learning this way means you can immerse yourself in the culture and language and grow in confidence each day as you practice what you have learnt outside of the classroom," explained Ms Lenssen.
According to travelsupermarket.com, 62 per cent of travellers are embarrassed by their inability to speak another language.
