With its pristine beaches, breathtaking scenery and top-quality water parks,
Tenerife could rival Florida, one publication has claimed.
According to the News of the World, the sun-soaked island of Tenerife has changed beyond recognition in recent years and is now a "fashionable family favourite".
The island really does have something to offer everyone, from families with young children to couples looking for a relaxing break in stunning surroundings, the publication said.
"It is the attractions and resorts that make Tenerife a place worth visiting. The latest is the £35 million Siam Park - the largest water park in Europe," the newspaper noted.
The park, which opened last year, is designed around a Thai theme and features more than 14 slides, including the Tower of Power, which is sure to entice adrenaline junkies.
Meanwhile, families taking holidays in Tenerife over Easter may be interested to learn that Disney on Ice is coming to the island this April.
