Tenerife's newest contemporary building, the Espacio de las Artes, has been described as a spectacular cultural space and a truly unique building.
Designed by renowned architects Jacques Herzog, Pierre de Meuron and Virgilio Gutierrez, the centre is located in Santa Cruz and has been designed to celebrate the work of local and international artists - and create a contemporary space for locals and visitors to enjoy.
According to Tenerife's official tourism website, the building is home to a centre of photography and a library, as well as a permanent collection featuring the work of artists such as Oscar Dominguez.
