Vila Sol Golf Course : Par 72 6762m
This course sprang to fame by hosting the 1992 Portuguese Open only 8 months after its official opening and then again in 1993. It was then honoured by the
Green Globe organisation in 1996 with the Green Flag award and then in 2001 it won the prize for Best Golf Development.
The greens are pristine and run true provided you take sufficient care to read them propertly. The course is reportedly one of the best kept in the Algarve.
The Clubhose, with its central location, is the starting and finishing point for each of the three 9-hole loops: the first heads to the East, the second to the west, and the third to the South.
You can also practise your game at the excellent driving range or practise course, of around 300m alongside the Clubhouse.
