Altea Landmark

La Virgen de La Consuelo is one of the Costa Blanca’s most distinguished landmarks; located at the top of the village and accessible by the steep cobbled streets of the old quarter, La Virgen de la Consuelo was built at the turn of the century and is most recognisable by its blue and white tiled dome. When you get to the top, you will find a small square with a selection of restaurants and bars, popular with visitors and locals alike. The square has a viewing point with spectacular views over Altea bay and the Mediterranean.
