Es Pujols is a major purpose-built tourist development on Formentera. Within easy reach are fine beaches - Platja des Pujols close to the village, where fishing boats are still pulled on to the sand, and those on the low headland of Trucadors. Also nearby is Ses Illetas, Formentera’s only official nudist beach. The facilities on Es Pujol’s beaches are simpler than on Ibiza, but that is in keeping with the slower pace of life on the smaller island.
to the east of the village is the promontory of Punta Prima. Here, as on many of Formentera’s headlands, there is an 18th century watchtower, though this one is being gradually overshadowed by tourist hotels.
For nightlife in the resort, you will need to visit the warren of narrow streets which contain all types of bars and restaurants.
