Bahia Feliz

… is located 10 minutes from San Agustin and 15 minutes away from Maspalomas and Playa del Ingles, where visitors can find an abundance of bars, shops, leisure facilities, restaurants and nightlife.

The design of the buildings in Bahia Feliz gives a feel of Morocco and unlike its neighbouring resorts retains an old fashioned ambience. Although one of the smaller resorts, Bahia Feliz is spread out nicely with gardens, park areas and a promenade that runs from the north of the resort to the south, approximately 7kms.

Entertainment tends to be mainly hotel based, however a good selection of the shops, restaurants and bars can be found in the Canarian Village, located in the middle of Bahia Feliz. For a larger selection of commerical centres Playa del Ingles is only a short taxi ride away and usually costs approximately 6 Euros per way. Alternatively a local bus services runs between Bahia Feliz, San Agustin and Playa del Ingles.

Bahia Feliz means 'Happy Bay', however in general the coastline of the resort is pretty rocky with most of the coves being pebble beaches. The beaches of Bahia Feliz shelve steeply into the water with tidal conditions which make it unsuitable for children. Thanks to the stiff breeze on the beaches, wind-surfung here is popular and just a few kilometeres up the coast you will find Pozo Izquierdo, considered to be one of Spain's best coves for wind-surfers.
