Things to See and Do in La Gracioca
... PLAYA DE LAS CONCHASThe island of La Graciosa is fringed by long beaches of golden sand dunes. The most beautiful of these is Playa de las Conchas stretching over many kilometres of the nothern shore - although a good hour's walk from the village of Caleta del Sebo. It is regarded as one of the most picturesque of all the beaches and provides a good view of the uninhabited smaller island - Montana Clara, Roque del Este and Alegranza. Remember that swimming here can be dangerous due to the strong currents.
... FRESH SEAFOODStroll into Calete del Sebo for a limited choice of restaurants .... and enjoy fresh seafood from the catch of the day.
... BIKINGTo get aroung the island, consider hiring a bike from "Bike Graciosa Island" from about 8 euros per day [the office is right in the harbour]. The can provide a basic map to help you find those far-off beaches.
... LAS ARENASIf you feel like accelerating out of first gear, head on down to Las Arenas - a disco pub at the back of the Enriqueta that only opens its doors to revellers after midnight.
