Calas de Mallorca is a modern purpose-built resort on the east coast of the island. For those who love the beach, this resort has three small coves called Cala Antena, Cala Domingos Gran and Cala Domingos Petis, all of which offer the usual selection of pedaloes and watersports to choose from. However, beware of the sea and it does tend to have strong undercurrents and may not be suitable for the weak swimmer or children.
The largest of the 3 beaches is Cala Domingos Gran which does carry a Blue Flag for cleanliness, but at a little more than 100m wide, it can become crowded during the summer months. However, during the day and into the evening, the Calas Express road train runs between the beaches so you can move on if the beach becomes too crowded, or you can always walk along the coastal path which is cut into the cliffs if you are feeling more energetic.
Near to the centre of Calas de Mallorca is an adventure playground with trampolines, mini-karts and a giant bouncy castle which is open during the summer from around 19:00 - 23:00
