Travel on The Soller Railway - which has connected Palma with Soller since 1912. The train is powered by an electric locomotive, and is the only one of its type currently in use. The railway takes you from Palma to Soller, across the plain, and then winds its way up to the mountains, through 13 tunnels of the Serra de Tramuntana, to the valley of Soller.
The train takes approximately 1 hour to get from Palma to Soller.
