Cala Blanca is a pretty pine-fringed cove, just 4km south of
Ciudadela which is packed with hotels, apartment and villas. Once there was just a small beach nestling between two limestone cliffs; now it has been engulfed to such an extent that the beach has become a smaller attraction in the village.
The beach is overlooked by several restaurants, all competing to attract families with facilities ranging from swimming pools and water slides to games rooms and “adult entertainment”. At the back of the beach are the remains of a Bronze Age naveta.
