Cala Santandria is a long, narrow creek, just 3km south of
Ciudadela and can be quite crowded. Along with its cove Sa Caleta, it is a popular beach at weekends. There are several bars and restaurants and all the usual facilities, including hiring pedal boats, parasols and sun loungers. Since the early 1990s the resort has continued to grow steadily from a small number of houses around the original rocky cove of Cala Santandria to the point where it now stretches south before finally merging with nearby
Cala Blanca. Although Cala Santandria has restaurants, bars and shops to cater for holidaymakers, if you are looking for designer labels or locally made craft goods, you will need to make the short journey north to
Ciudadela.
