Los Abrigos is located in the municipality of Granadilla de Abona, south of Tenerife and covers a land area of no more than 155 square kilometres. Los Abrigos is located between the two resorts of
El Medano and

Los Abrigos attracts visitors with its quiet atmosphere and several restaurants specializing in shellfish. The town also has a fine promenade and quaint harbour where both locals and tourists gather to relax, sample some of the high-quality dishes and generally watch the world go by.
Los Abrigos is rich in cultural forms, where several traditional festivities and music festivals are held. Every June 13th there is a holiday for San Antonio de Padua, who is the patron saint of Granadilla de Abona. The celebrations consist of a large pilgrimage culminating in a big night festival at Los Abrigos' main square. The annual fiesta in September is a colourful occasion, when the fishing boats are decked out with bright lights for the carnival parade. The fiesta has a reputation for holding one of the most spectacular fireworks displays on the island.
The main treat offered on your Los Abrigos holiday is the sun, which accompanies them all year round. Temperatures are nice, especially during the night-time when the weather gets cooler.
Los Abrigos may only be a small fishing village but it can lay claim to being the only place on the island to hold a night market. The first and only night market on Tenerife, is held every Tuesday between 18:00 to 22:00 selling everything from local produce, including freshly caught fish, to clothing.
For the more active visitor, recreational facilities in Los Abrigos include windsurfing and scuba diving. The golf courses of Golf del Sur and Amarilla Golf are also nearby.
