If you are planning a holiday in Cala Tarida, Ibiza, the following information may help by giving you an overview on the resort.
Located on the west coast of Ibiza, Cala Tarida is a lovely little bay with golden sand and a small number of hotels. Generally, this is a quiet resort but can get popular during the summer months and therefore more lively and populated by tourists.
Although the beach in Cala Tarida is not large [it is approximately 300 metres long], there are plenty of sunbathing spots and is ideal for children as it slopes gently down to the sea. There are a few water-sports available here, including the family favourite – pedaloes. Take a break from the beach and head out in a glass-bottomed boat. Away from the beach you will find a few small supermarkets and souvenir shops along the main street, and you will find at least one shop selling things you may need for the beach. There is also a fairly good selection of bars and restaurants.
