If you are planning a holiday in S’Illot, Mallorca, the following information may help by giving you an overview on the resort.
S’Illot is located next to the resort of Sa Coma, but dont expect to find a mirror of Sa Coma – in fact the difference between the two resorts is quite surprising. Unlike the modern purpose built Sa Coma, S’Illot was originally a traditional fishing village that has gradually grown into a small holiday resort. The few remaining fishing boats here are still hauled up each day, over the rocks and onto a concrete ramp at the end of the beach. The two resorts are joined by a footbridge over the small freshwater lagoon and also a slightly longer road bridge.
Like Sa Coma, nightlife is based in hotels, although there are a few bars. For more lively nightlife take a 5 minute taxi ride to Cala Millor.
